Spring Macro Madness begins!

Totally bored on Fathers day...went out to sulk in the back garden. Harassed a ladybettle and a fly for a while, but when I started taking pictures of the done-to-death-flowers on the ornamental plum, I retired to the comfort of a chair and junk food to revel in some fat building.

Like 1&4 number 2 a bit bright. Great colour & sharpness Barry. Got a bit bored too - grabbed my new Sigma 150 macro and did some test shots in the shade house. Will soon be down in the SW for a 5 day photoshoot of wildflowers. Hopefully will fit in the Stirling Range National Park and the Porongerups National Park. (Maybe just a leeeetle visit to a vineyard!)

At least you could get outside. We were stuck in with rain.

Come on Spring. Come on bugs!

Thanks folks. Just shows me that I don't always have to go for an epic trip to the mountain tops for a bit of a good photo.
