Here is an image of Sunspot 798 from this morning. It was a bit of a struggle as the image was shearing and oscillating on the Notebook computer display due to unsteady seeing. The image is a little "grainy" as I was not able to stack multiple images due to the image continually distorting between frames due to the unsteady atmosphere. Oh well, I guess I'm lucky to have had the chance to get the 'scope out at all!

Reason: Added a prime focus shot from 20th August for comparison
Baader film is great stuff...and you can get two flavours; one for visual and one for astrophotography only. The astro-only filter material really helps freeze the "seeing" when using high mag set ups such as the x5 Powermate.
I'll edit the original post and add a prime focus shot from the 20th Aug, so you can see the increased scale from using the TV x5 Powermate.
