Pioneer Valley from Eungella

Went for a trip to Eungella 80klms west of mackay and got this panorama I had a third picture to add but I had the positioning wrong so this is only two stitched together.

It's a nice part of the world there, Warren. Does get a little cool at this time of year but it'd be a great place to stick a scope up, if it wasn't for the National Park!!!. Greenies wouldn't appreciate having something like that there disturb their leaf litter in the rainforest

Great photo, pity about the 3rd photo.
Pioneeer Valley is a great place, Been there a few times on my trips when working for CQU.

Oh there are good places for a scope that are out of the national park in fact our local group intend to head up for a weekend camp to a real good spot about 1Klm up with views to all parts of the sky just got to get the weather right.

Yes it is a great spot this is my first attempt at a panorama and I was using panorama assist on the camera but I am still learning and the camera didn't seem to show for the next shot but I think it was my mistake not the camera.

Ah Eungella! The in -laws run the mango factory at the foot of the road that winds up from the valley to Eungella. And one Sunday I was walking up the hill for a bit of exercise and ran into a chap who cycles up the whole, winding,steep, thigh - burning hill every Sunday then rides out to the dam and then back to Finch Hatton! Takes him all day!

Hi Warren,

Thanks for the nice panorama and the sky looks incredibly clear compared to
the fog and mist we've usually encountered up there.

Thanks for your comment it was a nice day one of the few clear days we have had this winter.
