SPX350 F29.9 with 5xPowermate, EQ6, DMK21AF, Astrodon UVenus filter and W47.
Two images one on the 1st and the other on the 4th.
First image has RG filters and W47 as blue as cloud prevented me getting the UV and secondimage is of just UV.
I have just moved to Cleveland in Bris from UK and the seeing here so far has been poor with a wobbly image every night even the moon was terrible the week before. Does this JetStream ever break as it seems to be a daily phenomenon without let up.
My 14" OrionOptics Newt does not stand a chance at the moment but I did get some contrast with the Astrodon UVenus which was better than the Wratten 47 but only slightly, cloud on Venus may not be prominent but it is my first try at this planet.
Thanks for looking, JohnH.

Beautiful smooth images John.
welcome to the southern jetstream - it heads south during summer and occasional steady loops appear at any time - but it seems to have been pretty diabolical this winter, with cloud cover coinciding with the steady bits. Makes one really appreciate the work that Bird and Quark do.
Thanks guys for your comments and encouragement, I recon Venus and Mercury are those planets you image once and then leave for the more interesting outer ones. I will wait till Venus is bigger in September and thanks Bird for the JetStream link - just what I was looking for.
