Planets and the Moon in the west this evening

Well, stuck in the City until evening with work! No chance to get home and image the neighbors until too late I walked down to my favorite bridge in Brisbane, the Kurilpa Bridge. Unfortunately I didn't have much charge in the battery and after shooting many more shots of a fire juggler than of the planets the battery gave up the ghost. I did manage to get a few shots that were reasonable.

Image 4 is a full size crop of image 5, and I caught the Belt of Venus rising in the east just prior to the session. Thanks for looking.

Certainly some interesting views there Tony,

Bit of a worry, I suspect, for the occupants of that office tower that is leaning over in the first two images. Wouldn't have got past the planning stage in NSW.

Regards
Trevor

The cynical among us might say the NSW might plan all they want, they just won't win , but I wouldn't .

I'm using a Canon 10-22 mm lens at 10 mm so there is some distortion
