I saw these guys here many years ago with the "Hell Freezers Over" tour, and was one of the best concerts I'd been to. They opened with Hotel California (isn't that video an absolute classic the way they all line up with their guitars!) and played for a good three hours. I purchased my tickets after lining up at the ticket office from 5am on the Queen St. Mall, the tickets were expensive, but worth it. Had to wait a whole year to see them after the tickets were purchased as one of them got sick. It was a long wait.
We are going to the Melbourne concert on the Friday, December 17? My wife bought me the tickets for Christmas, but she had to tell me in case I bought tickets for her for Christmas instead! She wasn't happy with the first lot of tickets she got, so she cancelled and tried again...getting worse tickets, so she cancelled and tried again, to get even worse ones! When her login expired, she tried a fourth time and got better tickets than she got the first time, and asked if she should try again. I said "Nooooo!" So we are in section 32, Row AA. More or less in front of the stage, but up in the nosebleed section.
