Feeling crabby?

This has taken ages to set up - literally months.

The soldier crabs run like hell at the slightest disturbance and I am not exactly built for speed, so getting a face-on shot has been my holy grail. Luckily I am only a couple of hundred meters away and it is my dog walking route, so I have had plently of chances.

Just basic gear (1000D & 55-250 lens) done while the dog was chasing birds...

Great capture Matt, lovely colours on the little critter.

What you go through sound a bit like me trying to capture Dragonflys in mid flight. I'm still after that holy grail.

cheers
