Pluto? Looking for confirmation

This is a single 90 sec shot from last night with SX-H9 and WO 72FD refractor, while tuning my G11 after its strip down. No darks, not flats not nothing. Fits converted to Tiff and straight into PS for levels and curves.

I'm pretty sure what I've circled is Pluto, but I'd like some confirmation before i put it in the album of "First Ofs".

I'm not even confident that I could go that deep with a 70mm refractor and only 90 Sec to get Pluto, but it seemed to be in the right spot in Sky 6. Steve could you indicate on my image the section contained in your FOV for your animation?
Thanks

I tried to do an astrometric match Steve, but wasn't successful. However here's a screenshot from Sky 6 last night and the corresponding area in the photo. Seems a pretty close match to me, but as I said I'm not confident I could get that deep with such a small scope over only 90 sec.

Looks like a duck!

I am planning to have a go at imaging the distant planets over 3-4 nights at Astrofest this year and see if I can demonstrate movement... From memory they'll be in favourable positions during August. Now if the weather will just oblige!

Yep, sorry Paul for my furphy...looks like you are spot on.
You have to back it up now with a few nights follow up
images
I can suggest using Aladin online to estimate your star magnitudes too.
Get a skyserver image, turn on a cataogue option and read off a few
magnitudes.

Steve

I hope I can back it up Steve. With longer exposure and this time I'll even focus. I was only playing around with alignment modeling and taking test shots and hadn't focused properly. At least my modeling is good, go to from Sirius put Pluto smack in the middle of the chip after the meridian flip

CdC view using GSC overlaid on your image. Looks good to me. It won't let me upload the animated GIF of it - too big.

And to make it even more challenging, I've just remembered I'd forgotten to take my Ha filter off

Its a start Dave, its a start. It will be a while before I'm even approaching Dennis' skill and expertise.

At least it wasn't with the BT mask on and in Med jpeg. Hey look at how much moonlight it cut out though
