Talking AlsReticule and AlsICCA go International...

I got an email last night from a journalist from Astronomie Magazine in France. She's writing and article and wanted to "present" 2 of my programs: AlsReticle and AlsICCA.

Of course, I said yes! They will also host the programs on their website with French descriptions.

I haven't really written a description, Duncan, but have a look at this thread and I'm sure you'll catch on:

Hi Al,
Thanks for that. Just had a look at the thread, and it's a beauty!!
I'm using wxAstrocapture with the Toucam and it has the option of using a reticle on screen as well. Just not sure if it does exactly the same job as yours?
Beside that point, i take my hat off to you for doing such a fine job. Anyone who can do the wonders of programming deserves plenty of accolades.
Cheers,
Duncan

Hi Al

You are now well and truly on the International Astronomy Map; well done mate, some well deserved recognition.

At least your fame is real and deserved, for producing these twin, terrific software applications. No doubt the royalties will soon be pouring in and you’ll have to hire an agent as well as an accountant along with the plethora of other hangers on that celebrity status appears to attract!

Cheers

Dennis

Yeah, I'm not much of a people person so I should get a manager first... I just can't deal with speaking to anyone to find one...

Hmmm, I wondered why there was so many paparazzi in the main street of Oberon when I was driving through the other day....now I know!

Well done Al,

Move over Bill Gates, Al Sheehan is on the rise.

Cheers

Chris

Here's a scan of the article...

They got my name wrong but that's easy done.

I can't read French but I can work out a reasonable portion of it from context with numbers, etc.
