I pointed a 29" I used to own at Sirius and it was like looking at a Welder arc. Took 20 minutes for the after image to fade. 50".... kill ya

That's why you'd need a MOAMF (Mother Of All Moon Filters)

With a 50", I'd be more worried about falling down the truss into the mirror box, never to be seen again!!!
