Here is my first shot of Saturn this season. I only got home from the Brisbane airport at 1:00am (had to pick up my sisters overseas friend) so I decided to stay up for the occasion.
As always, taken with my trusty 10" dob (no tracking
). I didn't record this but I think it was around 700X mag? Would anyone be able to confirm this as a size estimate. I had to scale the final shot down to 80% of the original size cause it was a bit specky.
(Note- I don't know bugger all about collimation (see, I can't even spell it
). I havn't fixed the mirrors up at all since I got the scope back in April. As its currently the Christmas holidays for me, would it be time for me to try alligning it all up?).
