I have a Stellarvue 70mm scope and I use a NaneuPro U120. It's a near perfect size for the scope and can be configured any way you like for accessories. Plus it can take a laptop. Something to consider perhaps.

I didn't consider those photography back packs thinking perhaps they weren't strong enough to take the weight. Obviously it works for you, so I think I'll check them out. Thanks for the tip.
