Vela Supernova Remnant TEC180

I took this 2 weekends ago at my dark site.

A section of the Vela Supernova Remnant - RA 8:34 Dec 45:45.

TEC180 fluorite, FLI Proline 16803, HaLRGB 30 30 40 30 20.

That's a beautiful image Greg. How long were the individual Ha subs?

Awesome quality image considering the short exposure!

How many different areas of the SNR have you imaged in the past 2 months? Is this some epic mosaic in the works or just a damned interesting area of sky?

yes I have taken a lot from this area. I have another one yet to process hehe. A mosaic would be good. I have an adapter hopefully arriving this week for my FSQ106ED reducer so that would be the scope for any mosaic. hmmm.

It was between imaging another object and seeing was very good. QE is also quite high with the 16803 chip at about 62%.
