I can't seem to find a local source for a stock standard T mount to M42 ( Old pentax thread) adaptor. Anyone have one for sale or know where to find locally????
Given up buying stuff from O'seas ( Oh yea....) due to poor exchange, excessive postage, duty hassles etc etc.
I got mine from Bintel $35 for a Praktica MTL-3 (still haven't used it though ). That's the T-ring to suit the M42 screw mount. The camera adapter itself, also from Bintel, was $45.
Well, unlike in the good ole days, now you can get a monster Dob with good optics for under a grand! .. and a fantastic starter Dob for a few $100.. and very capable eyepieces for a few $10. So it's not all bad!
But I'd say you'd be lucky to get a lenscap for $5 let alone a useful camera accessory. Sorry, there is no mass market for M42 adapters.
