Thumbs up Synscan alignment stars

I got this link from the EQ6 Yahoo group and downloaded the zip file (2.6MB) it looks just what I need to help identify or choose which alignment stars to use, seems still valid for v2.05a.

http://www.amateur-astronomy.org/Fil...StarCharts.zip

All I need now is to be able to see a few stars, one would be nice.

Theoraticly you should be able to use any combinations of alignment stars...you would think....with in reason anyway.

I just kept it to one side of the meridian.

Tony, I think that by using one star on the other side of the meridian you will find you get better Goto's, at least this is how it works with my Skysenser and Meade goto's.

David.

David.....The only problem with that and SCT's...the mirror flop once you pass the meridian can put you way out.
