Saturn this morning, Feb 19

Finally some clear and steady skies after weeks of rain and cloud... This image of Saturn, Titan and Tethys was taken at about 3.15am using my 14.5" mirror and Nemesis.

cheers, Bird

Beautiful, that's really nice Anthony. Subtle colours. I'm having trouble finding the moons on this laptop screen but will have a look later.

Mike, Tethys is just above the rings, on the left hand side. Titan is a bit easier to spot at top left. I could see titan when I was capturing but I didn't see Tethys until it was processed.

cheers, Bird

What a truly lovely image Bird,

You have certainly lost nothing since the last Saturn season, a world class effort indeed. I love the subtle processing and crispness of the rings and Cassini division, it certainly is a mouth watering prospect waiting to see what you can produce with your 16, looking at this it is hard to image a better result.

Regards
Trevor
