Extreme bushfire weather Vic

It's hot as hell, dry and a strong northerly. Not good for bushfires in Vic today.
I hope no idiot starts a fire.

not much heat here as usual, with constant cold fronts, seabreezes and the usual blustery southerly winds

It's 37 here at the moment, and only that cool because there is another cloud bank around.
Total fire bans for most of southern NSW.

We reached 42ºc out our way yesterday.

It was sad to hear that one of the CFA volunteers was killed while heading to a fire yesterday.

Got up to 43 in Horsham, currently 35.7.

It was hot when I went up the street this morning and it was that hot this afternoon, that the wind felt like it was on fire as I walked back to the ute.

Today was a good day the hit the bottle - the water bottle.
