Solar system drive in Rural NSW

Hey folks,

I was browsing the web this morning for model solar system displays and found this - http://www.solarsystemdrive.com/index.html

Looks fun, has anyone here seen it or heard of it before?

I have photos of all the objects except Pluto (but not with me), taken on the road from Dubbo to Siding Spring. We tried to find the Pluto one in Tamworth but had no luck.

I also have photos of all except Pluto, taken whilst driving from the IISAC event at Lostock through to Siding Springs last October, I couldn't find the Pluto one in Dubbo!

Cheers

Hi Keenan, Andrew & Chris,

Someone's stolen Pluto

Uranus, Saturn and Neptune are too big to carry away

Cheers Marty

They have alot of these in the US - many of the Pluto signs were taken down when it was downgraded to a 'd - planet'.

SSD Images - part 1

The backboards are all the same size. I've only fixed the perspective and made them all 800 pixels wide.

Index, Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth.

Others in part 2.

Looks like a great idea by someone, I'll have to check it out when I'm up that way.
