My good scientist mate from the U.S. is in town

Tis been a good Christmas/New year for catching up with people Ive not seen for a while. A good friend from Boulder, Colarado is here over the Christmas period visiting family here in Newcastle. Here is his home page

I first met him in the late 1990's when he was studying at Newcastle Uni. he's a great friend, and I am so privilaged to call him a good friend.

He and his American partner are staying at his dad's place till they head back to Boulder on the weekend. His partner is so friendly and kind, she always makes me feel so welcome.

I feel so privilaged to also know other great mates, some of which are mmebers of this forum, particularily Dave (houghy), Bert (avandonk), and Paul (photoncollector), who have assisted me so much in my persuit of astrophotography and computers.

There are many more mates some who are in the Newcastle Astro Society, and elsewhere.

After Tim goes home, another mate will be visiting, from Saudi Arabia, where he works in the King Faisal Hospital as a nurse.

Sometimes I wonder how someone like me ended up with such a great number of excellent mates, but I am surely humbled, and glad, that I have
Scott
