NGC Lists

This may be a silly question, but does anyone have/know where to find a complete list of NGC objects (and IC as well if possible) in a simple Excel or similar format, preferably with some basic info such as RA & Dec, magnitude, dimensions etc.

Here's hoping

Malcolm

Do you have starchart software such as TheSky? Using TheSky you can export exactly what you want as a text file. I suspect Maxim and others can too.

Can email it if you like.

Freeware version of Astroplanner gives you the full Messier and NGC catalogues to sort and explore as you wish. Can be a huge help helping you work out when and you can see what too. Must have for session planning I would venture. I haven't opened my Nortons errr, for many months (was going to say "all year".... )
