Tarantula and Horsehead

A few more images from the modded 450D and 40D in LP Melbourne.

Pretty good Tarantula there Rob, core looks good. Both HH images look a bit soft (focus?).

I think the softness might be due to the intense sky glow at my location??. The light pollution filter does not solve all the LP problems...Some of it is also a result of the noise reduction filter during processing. There was an awful lot of thermal noise in the hh subs that I couldn't remove.
