Failed Russian Missile or Wormhole??

Morning All,

My attention was drawn to an article from Norway (~sept/Oct 09) in which several hundred people saw a bright blue light spiral in a clockwise direction and then implode on itself creating a large 'black hole".

Needless to say conspiracy theory sorts have associated this to the LHC being test fired etc; and the formation of a new wormhole (too much StarGate?).

There is footage of said event (http://spaceweather.com/archive.php?...h=12&year=2009) carries footage, and possible explanations, including a failed missile launch from a Russian Sub in the White Sea.

I would be very interested to find out if anyone has any thoughts/ideas/comments/theories on what this could have been.

PS is there anywhere in SA where one can do a Degree in Astronomy w/o the Astrophysics content?

Yep I was just about to post that link to the other thread.
So that we don't have two similar threads going, I'll lock this one.
