Fresh cooked Yabbies

At work again in western NSW.
Some may see the warnings of the Paroo river in minor flood but this is a great news to live off the land for a while.

A few cans of beer with them ( Theres nothing better).

We bring 15 litres of water the boil add 1 1/2 cup of salt.
Put the Yabbies in leave them boil for 7 minutes.
Turn off the gas then leave them sit in the water for 20 mins.
Then cool then off on a table then have a feed.

Cheers Kev.

Nice Kev ! For a sauce mix equal parts of tomato sauce and mayonnaise .
Try it, a top chef told me this one.
