Nice little Grab and Go - Cheap too!

Hi All,

A quick one, was reading another thread which had a link to this site on it, clicked it and browsed, found this....

http://www.southerncameras.co.nz/pro...7&productid=45

Not a bad little grab and go, if you are Arnold S.

Wow.

Cheers

Chris

When I was looking for a guidescope recently it got down to a decision between your Arnold S. and an 80mm refractor. Since the Arnold S. was out of stock I ended up with the 80mm (oh...that and the fact that I couldn't find a 500lb counterweight)

If I were going grab and go I'd still probably go for something a little bigger.. aperture matters..

Back in 2002 I pressed my LX200 12" GPS OTA+forks overhead to arms length 8 times in a row just for fun ...it felt harder than expected not only because it was an awkward large shape with poor hand holds but also because I had to do it slowly for fear of dropping what was then a $10 000 scope!

So given this setup is worth $80K it would be dam hard to carry around I recon ...just out of shear nerves of dropping anything

Mike

From 14 years experience designing fitness and weight training programs for women, I found it was usually all in your minds, you guys are usually a lot stronger than you think once the inner beast-ette is released

I reckon you probably could grab and go this one Mike, I should have though to say Mike S instead of Arnold S, sorry about that....

Cheers

THey clearly photoshopped the guy to make him tiny, and decided to give him that outragous hairdo while they were at it.
