Seriously......the author of this, which was sent to me via email, really needs a lobotomy!

*I am writing this letter to astronomers in the southern hemisphere. I assume that you would like to be the first one to discover the next new astronomical object. The object radiates in the infrared, so you will need the proper optics. Mr. Ericksen and I are anxiously awaiting the sighting and the calculation of the object's trajectory, happy hunting* *About twelve years ago I started hearing researchers talking about the Sun having a dwarf twin. They have the best viewing position right now. That will change during Summer, 2010, at which time WW will be visible from the northern hemisphere. If you can find people with infrared camera gear on their eye pieces they might be able to track its inbound trajectory along RA 18 as well as its rate of approach.*

One of these morons turned up at Astrofest this year. Lucky he was only on a day pass otherwise I think he would have been strung up from the tallest Dob.
He came to warn us all that Jupiter was plummeting towards Earth or some such nonsense.
