NGC 1365 - 3.5 hrs exposure with the 40D

David managed to capture a 3.5 hr total exposure on the 18th our only night out this month.

We're both reasonably pleased with the result.

Barb

Basic equipment used

Celestron C9.25 using a 6.3 focal reducer
EQ6 Pro mount on pier
Canon 40D unmodded

Image is full frame at 1485fl

Nice shootin' guys. Lovely round stars to boot, great guiding David. Nice job of the processing Barb, there are still quite a few faint ones in the background when you go looking for them.
