That is a pretty good image with a lot of depth. It is also a marathon effort to gain the data.

Yes I had to throw away about two hours worth as the sky and focusing kept shifting.
I hope to built this image up to about 20hrs eventually.
I am amazed at what a modded 350D can still do as compared to ccd cameras. Good value for the money.

Sure beats the faintest of glimpses of NGC253 that I manged last night with 11x80 bins from suburban Concord

Its taken a lot of effort to get this far. I'll be interested to see what a 20hr exposure of this galaxy shows up !
