Iceinspace Slow
I don't Know if this is the right place for this post 
I have just downloaded the "Update" for Firefox and my iceinspace has gone extremely slow 
I have closed the computer completely down, even withdrew the power, left it 15 minutes and started up again, it is still very slow
Is anyone having the same problem

Ron, I have had this problem for ages. I just timed how long it took to load this page after I hit reply and it was 23 seconds. I do not have this problem with any other site, not sure whats going on . As for firefox, it works a treat everywhere but here. I cannot get any of the forum pages to load at all so I am stuck with IE8 if I want to visit IIS. About the only time I ever use it.

Damn thats slow.
I'm using FF 3.5.2 and this page loaded in ~8 seconds (1000, 2000, 3000....)
Oh and I'm on dialup connected at 45kbps

I would love to know what is going on with firefox as I much prefer using it to IE. Is it something to do with settings? I can load the front page but when I try to load the forums it just hangs?
Simon I am on ADSL2+ and every other site is click and there it is.

3500+kbps in my area... just a slight speed increase over 45kbps dialup! And the same price, cheaper infact.
Only let down is the 10-20 day wait for connection.

Wowee, my fastest speed with our flash new satellite broadband is 100kps.
Landline used to be 13kps.

I changed over about 3 years ago and have not looked back. You will only get that speed if you live right next to the exchange, coming from dialup who cares  . My best download speeds are about 1100kbs.

Right next to the exchange is 24000kbps max.
According to adsl2exchanges heatmap, my DSL neighbours are getting 3455k/324k

Just checked out that site, cool . My estimated speed is 11000kbs ( I am about 1km from the exchange). Doesn't turn out that way though. As I said my best download rate is about 1100kbs using a download accelerator hitting multiple hosts at once. There are always bottlenecks unfortunately.
