Size matters

Many years ago when I was in NZ I went to a science museum where you were encouraged to explore the exhibits, there was a mercury space capsule and spent heat shield so I got into the space capsule, not much room inside, I am 6' 4" tall and my head was sticking out of the hatch, those astronauts must have been no more than 5' 6"

I was reading about this recently. The lander was so small when they slept they had to arrange themselves around the rock samples or just sleep on top of them .

Ha Ha....very funny, Marc

Being a geologist, you would imagine I've roughed it a bit....anywhere from the sides of mountains to creek bottoms

Been in the doghouse a few times too
