I can give them a perfectly good idea for the use of the scope. Give 1/4 of the telescope time over to amateurs. Can you imagine having access to a 10.4m scope!!!!!!. It would have to be a structured program of access, but just imagine the piccies you could take with that!!! No mere 16Mp camera for that muchachos, no way!!. All the way with a 100Mp camera and all the filters you could poke a stick at

It probably will miss the boat (research wise) as it's come a bit too late. But they'll manage to find something for it to do
