Trevor,
I have had numerous emails bounce back so I guess the email listed on the website isnt in use anymore. I have tried to place an oder through the order section of the web page but nothing happens.

I placed an order direct and it accepted it. I believe he's still around I'm trying to track him down through the Newcastle Astronomical Society who confirmed he was at there last meeting.

If I can't get hold of him by Monday I'll be cancelling the order and rescinding my Visa payment

Sites that accept orders need to be kept up to date

I ordered a replacement copy around 2 months ago and it seemed the order went through but I never received the goods but I don't think I was charged either. It is a pity as the product is really good.
I agree that such sites should be kept up to date.

If any one is interested I do have a spare copy of star atlas pro standard edition, I think its version 5.4 but can be upgraded to the latest version 6.2 via the patches from the website.
cheers

STAR Atlas PRO

Hello all,

First and foremost I would like to sincerely apologise to anyone who has attempted to contact me or order a copy of STAR Atlas PRO. I am indeed very sorry.

Please be advised that for anyone who has placed an order via the website your cards will NOT have been billed.

As mentioned sometime ago I un-expectantly became unwell– spent a long time in hospital – then a long time afterward recovering (that’s the boring bit). The good news is I am now very well and have stars in my eyes again – LOL – and a new version of STAR Atlas PRO is coming real soon.

I am currently in the process of resurrecting the web site and the new STAR Atlas PRO Version 7 will then be available. I will announce this on IIS and anticipate this will be in the next few weeks.

Anyone who would like to contact me in the interim I ask that you send me a personal message here on IIS or email me at pmayo@provet.net.au.

Paul Mayo

Welcome back Paul, glad to hear that you are well now.

Can you share any preview shots of new look or features for version 7?

Good to see you back on your feet, Paul. Had a run in with the sick house myself this year. Not quite as onerous as what yours was, but not too good nevertheless.

Will be looking forward to the new Star Atlas release.
