2 planets and 5 moons!

Hi all,

Here's my image of the Moon-Jupiter-Neptune conjunction early this morning. It's a combination of 2 exposures taken with a tripod-mounted Pentax dSLR and 300mm lens. Neptune is a bit hard to spot, so I've added a 100% crop of the Jup-Neptune region to show Neptune more clearly.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Nice one Stephen.

I thought about that combo myself but couldn't get the lens/camera setup to achieve it. Might have to look at getting a 300mm lens some day. Maybe a nice little apo 'eh

Another nice effort Stephen,
It really is quite amazing what can be done without a telescope.

Cheers

It was a very pretty conjunction wasn't it. Nice to have clear skies to go with it too. Thanks for posting Stephen.
