HDR Lake and some Cars

Well, I seem to be infatuated with HDR's at the moment.
Maybe a flavour of the month, but had a crack finally at a HDR.

Still learning as this is my first real hard crack at it.

Taken with a Fuji S1000FD, 3 exp.

Hi Brett

Nice images. Unfortunately with the HDR one it's too "strong" for my liking - the clouds just don't look right. What program are you using to create it?

Hi Brett,

I like the cars! Good pics, but I have to agree with iceman, the clouds have a dark halo. Maybe you can delete it.
But the landscape is very nice.

cheers

Ahh bewdy, thanks for the comments.
You have to start somewhere.

I thought I might have over done the colours a bit (even the clouds), but I thought the feeling was to make it sort of look a bit "unrealistic". ??

Using Photomatix Pro 3.1, not sure what part of the Tone Mapping to use (Details Enhancer or Tone Compressor).
I think that cut of the HDR lake was with Details Enhancer.

Ok, I've just tried again. Sligthly lesser aggresive on the clouds.
I lost some shine on the background fence, but I think it might be better on the eye.
I had my "smoothing" too low.

Is this the right direction. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3662/...31b7f666_b.jpg
