Comaprison of Hubble Eskimon Nebula to my humble DSI II

Yes, the clouds have finally got to me so I thought I would post an image I stumbled upon of the Eskimo Nebula taken by Hubble. For comparison I have included my go at the eskimo with a DSI II. Once the clouds roll off I will try and image the Eskimo again with a DSI II pro to try and get some of that wonderful detail that the Hubble shows us.

Thanks Kev and Michael. I will try for some long Luminance subs next time to bring out the faint "ruffles" of the Eskimo's fur coat!

Its a really difficult object (this means that I've had way less joy than you have with your effort). Good job.

Hi Guys, well unfortunately I could not get any more luminance shots of the eskimo due to limited sky and it's current position, however I did manage to refocus my efforts (aided by new software!) and amazingly brought out detail I never thought was in there!
