EOI - Celestron Firstscope 114

Hi, just seeing if there is any expression of interest for a Celestron Firstscope 114.

Was purchased roughly about 1 year ago from York Optical at $399.

Was a great first scope but I could never figure out the complexity of a EQ mount so I hardly used it and purchased my now current dob.

The OTA is in excellent condition and is available as a separate package.

The mount has 1 problem; one of the 3 star knobs that control the RA/DEC has lost one of its stars so makes turning the knob a bit harder. I’m sure it’s an easy fix if one had the time to find something to replace it with.

The mount can be a separate purchase also.

The original red dot finder that came with the scope has been lost..

However I have a spare 8x50 SkyWatcher Finderscope with mounting brackets that will fit.

Or can be a separate purchase

Details of the scope are as below:
http://www.celestron.com/c3/product.php?ProdID=18

The Finderscope is similar to this bintel one, expect its not Bintel its a Skywatcher.
https://www.bintelshop.com.au/Product.aspx?ID=6337

I would prefer local Sydney Pickup for the OTA or mount. Unless you know of a suitable method of sending these kind of items.

Again, this is just to see if there is any interest in these items.
If you are interested, I will go to the liberty of uploading pictures.

Prices are below:

Full package (OTA+Mount+SW 8x50 Finder) - $110

OTA only - $80

SW 8x50 Finderscope - $50 (inc Postage)

EQ Mount - $20

Cheers,
Ash

PS: Reason for selling is due to these items collecting too much dust!

SOLD
