OK, price dropped to $825AU with registered post in Australia included... that's a pretty darn good price for a near new 40D body like this. First to PM they'll definitely take it gets it... if no takers soon it'll be off to ebay.
I'm selling my 40D body. This has taken some excellent Astro pics even though unmodified and is a great all round camera - see examples below.
I bought the camera new from Ted's camera in Brisbane just 9 months ago and still have the receipt - supplied - so it has till mid May 09 on it's warranty left.
It has its original box, power supply, battery, disks, warranty cards and manual - all in excellent condition as shown below.
I don't know the precise amount of actuations, but judging from my files believe it to be between 5000 and 8000 images.
Everything is working perfectly. I have replaced the original focus screen with a gridded screen which helps with composition. The live view function is also excellent for this.
The camera body is in excellent condition - there are some very fine scratches on the viewscreens.
I'm selling because I've bought the 50D and just put money down on a 5D MkII as well.
I paid $1340, but they now retail for between $1125 -$1200.
