Having a forced break from Astronomy for a while...

Great looking night outside I see... Murphy Sod and Associates (Solicitors) have legal documentation to that effect I'm sure.

I would be out there ordinarily playing with my Staranalyser and maybe capturing the occasional hires shot of the moon (1st quarter) but, alas, I start a 10 day shutdown at work tomorrow, so it's early to bed tonight. For the next ten days it's a cycle of work, eat, sleep, work, etc.

I'll be spending my long days playing with cranes, replacing a large flash drier duct (just over 1.5m diameter and probably 75m in length up to 35m in the air). Fingers crossed we can get the old corroded one out safely, and the new one fits!

Just when I was really feeling like I was getting the hang of the SA and VSpec (thanks to Ken, Mark, Jeff and Renormalised) too. I hope I can retain where I'm at... I'm keen to get back into it after the shut!

So if you don't here much from me in the next 10 days... you'll know why.

Al.

We'll keep the star shining just for you, Al

Make sure those A stars behave themselves so you can get a good calibration on the next set of spectra

Hi Al hope it all goes to plan at work for you. I know what the work, eat, sleep cycle is all about too. Mine will start soon as the wheat harvest is about to start here.

Cheers

Gary
