EQ6 Pro and EQMOD - Time sync issue

HI Folks,

OK may or may not be a quick one (got me beat for now). I have fired up the EQ6 Pro with Starry Night Pro and EQMOD. Initial tests all work OK (which is weird as I am buggered if I could get SNP and the EQ6 talking just using the celestron drivers - still can't but that is another thread I guess ) however I do have one issue:-

My PC and SNP have the right time yet when I connect to the mount using the EQMOD the it looks like the time in EQMOD is 20:40 etc. (i.e night time and it is the middle of the day). Anyone else had issues with this?

From what I read EQMOD should read the system time yet it is obviously not and I am buggered if I can see where to change it in EQMOD. I know when I turn on the mount the time is allway 20:xx odd so it looks to me like EQMOD is picking up that time.

Any help appreciated from you EQMOD users.

When I loaded up SNP it is daylight and then when I connect the SNP screen goes to night and in EQMOD under mount position the LST value is what what I am assuming is the time.

TIA

OK just having a read on the EQMOD yahoo groups and it looks like LST is actually Local Sidreal Time (DOH!! - Not Last Time which is what I assumed) however it is weird that SNP goes to the night time view (as opposed to the normal day time view) when I connect (just checked it and the sun is in the same position so it looks like going to the night view - i.e seeing stars etc. - is a supposed to happen - i.e it appears the view is correct).

Hmmmmmmm, never mind me

If the date / time was off (even by 1 hour due to daylight savings), I'm sure you would notice some problems with the gotos. If it's finding objects ok, then everything sounds in order.
