Sunspot 11-1-2009

Hi All,

AR #1010, sunspot and solar prominence taken 11-10-2009.

SolarMax 40 telescope and DMK21AF04.AS camera used.

Used the DMK at native focal length, 2x and 3x with telextenders, also played with the Etalon to enhance the spot.

Couldn't resist the nice proninence either.

Still hampered by cloud here in "sunny" UK!!!

This small spot/ group AR1010 is visible in white light.
Get those Baader/ 1000 Oak/ JMB filters dusted off and give it a go.
Good practise for the future!
