Another Test 5X 600 each channel.
As has been noted before you realy do need alot of time for narrowband. However the contrast is so great you can push it after only 50minutes much further then you think you could. Cann't wait for my 10 inch to turn up.
Very nice detail and I like the wide field of view Ken.
I hope you don't mind but I duplicated a layer, threw some red into the mix and adjusted shadow higlights just for fun and came up with this version ... not better than yours ... just different. I realize yours is a purely narrowband image and a good one at that. I've posted the 2 versions to show the changes easily. I'll do a horsehead again myself soon and mess around with my own image.

Bluescope I don't mind I'm here to learn. I can see where you’re going. I've only been to this narrow band stuff for a while. The Ha band really comes through on most objects so you have to balance that with the other channels. I'm still learning how to do that. I find Astroart is easy to muck around in and this is the result that I got in auto balance, the manual own came out even greener!
It seems there are two approaches. A lot of exposure in those other channels and or mixing in LRGB layers as well. I haven't tried that yet but after seeing your effort I might give it a go. A green hh does sort of feel wrong .
I'm using Custom Scientific filters and a Sbig camera. I'm guiding with a remote head. The Williams is not setup to use an off axis guider.
