Barnard 86 and NGC 6520

Hi Guys, well I was not to keen on posting this one as I feel it is a little off focus, and when I imaged this the conditions were very poor indeed, high wind, and hazy conditions, I would have rated it at about 5 out of 10.

Anyway it was requested after I posted my Raw Sub of the Aircraft cutting the image in half.

It consists of only 6 frames of 5 mins each, that is all I could get in before the clouds arrived, 400ISO, through the modded 5D and the Tak, on the G11, and Auto Guided with much movement due to the high wind.

This is a full, un cropped wide field image, processed in Image Plus, and PS2.

Anyway see what you think, as I intend to get back to this one once the weather improves.

Definitely looks a little dull, not your usual standard but still good practise. I look forward to more.

Still it's not too bad Leon for only 30 min @ ISO 400.
Thanks for posting it anyway.
Once you get clear weather you'll be able to crack this one wide open.

Thanks Andrew, I really like this area and it is not the first time of late that I have had a go at it, but with not good results due to clouds, winds rain, you name it.

Never got in more than a few frames and it was over, anyway when it comes good, I will try again, many thanks for your comments.

Just be thankful you have an observatory Leon.
You can at least pick up from where you left off the night before.
I'm so sick of packing up after clouds and wind ruin the sessions.

Hopefully soon I can start on my rolloff.

Oh Andrew, I do feel very lucky in that respect, it dose only take a few minutes to close it down and walk away.

It maybe a very humble little house, as my dear wife Alice calls it, but it dose the job real well.
