Jupiter, Venus and Moon - N. Hemisphere

Can't be left out of the fun. From the Central Coast of California, USA. November 30, 2008. Canon 350D, 46mm/F-5.6. Some minor post processing in PS to bring out the unlit portion of the moon.

Nice shot Kirk

I think the West Aussies will get the best of here in Aus tonight, as far as closest approach goes. At 9:30 all three will form an equilateral triangle with 2 degree sides.

But if you live in Rio de Janeiro at about 10:30 am their time the moon will pass right between the two planets. That would be fantastic to see.
