Yeah well I replied an hour after this message was posted and said I would take it. Got a reply back from my PM in 25 mins saying that seller would contact me tonight. Anyway seller got offered 1500 after I said Id take it at the offered price, so its a time waster and probably thinks the word ethics starts with a $ sign.
There were a few of us that offered to buy the scope after you Jeff, but I figured you had first choice. I wasn't interested in going above the offer price either. In fairness to Peter though, I think he made a mistake dropping the price by 400 in one go. It was definitely a bargain.
I'll wade in here as well, ethics and all.
I am one of the "few" Tony mentions. At $1300 it approaches a price I can reason with, and have a friend that would like it.
I have not heard from the seller at all though, so assumed Jeff had scored it.
For Peters sake, just list it as sold, or with a price please.
