Milky Way

hi all,
I took this picture of the Centre of the Milky Way.
the night was very good!
35" exposure with Canon EOS 400D with EF18-50 @ 18mm F/3.5
1600 ISO just on a tripod
Picture taken from Bakers Hill - WA

Thank you all guys,
next time I will try to dramatically increase the time providing I put the camera on a Eq mount and guiding for a couple of minutes!

very nice, must be a dark site, Bakers Hill isn't to far out of Perth is it ?

It's about 45 min from the city, it's on Great Eastern Highway.
Takes me a bit less than an hour to get there from where I live.

very nice... get it up on the EQ5 and run of 6~10x60 second subs and stack them up!
