Dear All
This very interesting star in Sagittae is the June variable star of the month for the AAVSO. See
http://www.aavso.org/vstar/vsots/
It is a star with a very young pn starting to form around it. The pn is about 30 arcsecs across and can be resolved easily. Skymap pro gives the pn a mag of about 16 so it is pretty dim.
I took 40 mins of lum and 15 mins of each colour last night with my little CCD but the seeing was pretty crap and the best I could get was a FWHM of about 4.5 arcsecs. The scope was my VC200L at 1800mm. The end result is attached. I haven't bothered fixing the colour too much as it is only a test.
Anyone else want to give this star a go?
The AAVSO states they would like to see a colour image of it.
It is at RA 20 11 56.1

This is in the north for us but still reasonably placed. It is reasonably close to the dumbell nebula.
