Lunar X illumination coming - July 2008
The fully formed X-shaped illumination near the terminator to be visable by 1255 UT on July 10, 2008.
Will the moon be "up" and the sky dark at 1255 UT in Australia?

Why?
Because if it's not, you won't be able to see the illumination.

Well, it'll be dark and an opportunity Dana - unfortunately it's bucketing rain at my location and forecast to continue!
Thanks for the heads-up!
