I'm Getting Restless.

Hi Guys, I reckon it has been so long since I have been out imaging, I have forgotten how to do it.

It has been ages since the weather has been suitable, and then when it is, the Moon is high

Can't win, maybe next week.

Leon

I know exactly how you feel Leon. You just can't win.

All you can do is sit and wait for some clear skies but when you do some, get the most out of it.

That's what I do.

Drives you mad doesn't it leon!?
I'm hoping for some clear skies early next week so that I can set up early and get a couple of hours in before the moon shows up!
Since I bought the L lens and got the 40D modded I've produced a grand total of 3 finished shots!!!!!
Oh well back to the booze!!!!!!!!!!!

Suffer!!!
I am imaging at the moment, OK, full moon and all, but tomorrow has showers forecast, and the Poms/All Blacks are on, so I am making hay while the moon shines.

I know guys, I have to be patient, and Doug, maybe this is our punishment for interfering with perfectly good camera's.

The long range forecast suggests it may be clear for this Friday & Saturday.

This, of course may be subject to change.

Cheers

Gets frustrating dosen't it. Just bought a 300D, ordered the accessories, made dew heaters and controller for all my refractors, fixed up the autoguiding mod on the mount controller, ordered the parts for a guide scope and rearranged my parts and eyepiece cases. Fast running out of things to do astronomy-wise.

True Bill, the nights are spent going round and round the computer, looking for things to do.

Reprocess a couple of images, that turn out the same as when you started,
Now what, OK, will annoy the guys on IIS, done that, check out ebay, done that, now what, ah, bugger it, go to bed man.

You've been looking over my shoulder Leon

Kym wants a new mailbox, so time for some tin bashing down the shed.

Too late, never thought about that, started it already
The one I've always wanted to make was one with a mechanical hand that comes out and grabs the letters off the postie.
