Unhappy another small fault???

Hiya all, Is anyone having trouble opening the rating box? I am. I get part of the box on the left of the button, the 1st time & a vertical line to the right/centre the 2nd. Mike/Mojo? Any clues? L.
ps. When clicked, the L/R scroll bar moves slightly to the left. About 30/40 mm. Don't know if it's related, but it's in sync. L.
Mojo will be happy to know that the page now renders itself with the correct colours & font, using the aformentioned F/fox profile... Thanks Mojo.
pps. Don't want to throw a spanner in the works, but when I tried to edit this thread, I got a very plain looking warning box, saying that I wasn't authorised, & to log back in. Now, whilst typing this, some of the text is being randomly highlighted. It's weird. L.

I am going to uninstall 'Text Highlighter' from all my 'profiles' to see if that helps. Tried it for a couple of days. Can see no use for it. L.
ps. Well, that seemed to do something...at least I can type without the text being highlighted & mixed together. Might just send note to the author re; bug.

I have plenty of trouble here that I haven't bothered to mention, even before this site up-date. But all my smilies have returned...so I'm happy! Oh & a quick up-date concerning my video card...it's seems to be fixed! (touch wood!) Just re-installed the original driver.

Sorry Mojo, might have found another small glitch. Tried to look at the 'quick links' & I only get about 2/3rds of the text showing. Anyone else found this? L.
Also noted> If on main page, quick link works O.K..... if on thread page, & I have to scroll to the right, the quick link box only opens partially....... & yet when in edit & the scroll bar is still there, the fault is gone. ie; it works fine. L.

ye gads. How many problems can one man have?

All I can say is, I use Firefox (1.06). Everything works just fine.
I can only fix things if they're broken.

I promise everything works properly in IE and Mozilla/Firefox. If it doesn't, it aint the site that's broken.

Dunno what to tell you. If both of us are using the same browser but you're having problems, then you'd have to assume your browser is borked. Disable all your extensions?

Still the same even after clearing all 3 profile caches/cookies/etc etc.... Quick link & rate do not open/render fully. Have disabled all extensions = same outcome. What next, Mojo? Any clues? Regards, L.

Do this.
Rename the firefox installation directory.
Rename the firefox data directory. the one under "documents and settings/application data/..."

install firefox. in the end you should have firefox installed without any extensions.

see what happens. i'm sure it'll work. Then you can copy your old bookmarks back.
