tax returns and the truth, do you tell the truth?

Yes it Tax time again, and that hard earnt tax return is going to a good cause, for me a Nagler, but for others it could be a new scope, a filter, DSC, goto mount, who knows?

Now it time to be honest.

Who out there has told thier wife/spouse/partner what they have bought?

My wife has already spent it before I got it. Typical. Then again it's going towards a much needed service and tune on the storm chasing car.

I don't do a Tax return. I don't have to. But also I don't get anything back either!! No goodies for me from Mr.Taxman.

And Cheryl knows every cent I spend on Astro gear. All she says is "do you really need it?" and I always reply "Yes, most definately!" to which she says "OK".

I must admit that she didn't know I ordered the 2" Barlow. She thought I was only getting the Cheshire. But when I unwrapped it she was very interested in the Barlow. Phew!

i've got a 2" 42mm superview and a crayford on the way.. got the superview going home.. the crayford coming here to work.. i figured the superview would've been the lesser of 2 evils when it comes to the mrs.. cause it was only $50.. but i'll be 'smuggling' the crayford home i think I felt a little guilty about spending the money on myself.. so i spent $800 on the baby on the way yesterday

Dave,

I told her exactly what it was!

I opened up the package and took out the Cheshire and she said "Is that it?" I said "Yeah, but I got this too". Then I opened the box and took out the 2" Barlow and she said "Wow! What's That?" I explained a Barlow to her and she reckons it was worth buying!!!! Even when I said it was $79 she said "That's not too bad".

Ken, thats nice that she is interested in your stuff. I suppose they must like the silly grins we have on our faces whilst playing with our expensive toys.

Ha! I have a laugh to myself at times. She says it's my hobby, go do it. But if I tell her I saw something really interesting she complains that I didn't show her too!!

When I do show her something I have trouble getting the scope back.

My Hobby . . . yeah, right!

they like to share, like sharing your 1/8 of the bed.

As they say, What's hers is hers, Whats yours is ours!

Funny creatures, don't understand them, but my three women (wife and two young ones) keep me laughing all the time!
