Hi all,
long time no post.
Had 19 days of 40*C plus weather through Feb &
March, thank goodness
for the air con I tell you. And no ozone, man, this is too
hot!
Any ways, have been wanting to get this object for as long
as I can remember.
It's always up in our hot period here and never gets above
43degs alt.
Imaging into the heart, to the north, straight up the guts of
Australia, you can imaging the cooling land with heat haze.
The wind and dust at this period is quite shocking for imaging,
not to mention what it does to a nice clean mirror!
But still, it's such a lovely galaxy.
Just had to persevere.
Thanks for taking a peek Gary and Leon.
The stars are quite fat due to the seeing and for nearly 4 hours of data, you'd think I wouldn't have as much noise as I have.
Oh well.
Hasn't been a very productive three months at all that's for sure.
Still I try not to expect anything too much from the summer months.
It is a bit of a shame though because when the weather clears up around now, I have a back log of objects I have to try and get down before the onslaught of Sagitarius' treasures.
damn, hat being in a hurry, means less sleep!
